13,00,000 people are affected by cancer every year in India. There was a time when cancer meant certain death. Today, however, science has provided invaluable tools to combat the disease. In the circumstances, it is tragic that for a vast majority of people, the very chance to fight cancer is out of their reach. Where 70% of cancer patients can be cured, only 40% survive.
We at the VS Medical Trust believe that every man, woman, and child should have a fair right to life, irrespective of financial status.
